SEOUL, KOREA - Jeju Air, Korea's major low-cost carrier, said on July 15 that it would add five more routes to China in July.
Already on 5th and 6th, the airliner had begun flying the Incheon-Wenzhou (Zhejiang Province) and Jeju-Shijiazhuang (Hebei) routes. From the 15th, it will start the Incheon-Ningbo (Zhejiang) flight, followed by the Incheon-Hohhot (Inner Mongolia) and Incheon-Sanya (Hainan) lines on the 16th and 25th respectively.

Jeju Air will run a twice-a-week schedule for the Incheon-Ningbo and Incheon-Hohhot flights while operating four Incheon-Sanya flights a week. With the addition of five new destinations to China, Jeju Air has a total of 11 routes between Korea and China, including eight originating from Incheon (Wenzhou, Ningbo, Hohhot, Sanya, as well as Qingdao, Jiamusi, Fuzhou, and Weihai) and three from Jeju (Shijiazhuang, as well as Wuhan and Fuzhou).

A Jeju Air official said, "Most of the flights to China are there to serve Chinese tourists visiting Korea. By accumulating a wealth of experience in Chinese destinations, we hope to serve Chinese travelers coming to Korea better."
