Following AXA Direct, The-K ranked No. 2, which was rated best in reliability and consumer friendliness. The No. 3 position went to Hyundai Hicar, followed by Ergo Daum Direct.
According to the consumer advocacy, the evaluation was based on the weight of 40 percent for reliability, 30 percent for consumer friendliness, 20 percent for financial soundness, and 10 percent for profitability. As the manner of consumer complaint handling and degree of service satisfaction were hard to quantify, the non-profit organization said, these were not included in the assessment.
