OnNet Joins Hands with Malang Studio to Gain Larger Share in Mobile Business

SEOUL, KOREA- OnNet, one of Korea's first-generation game companies, signed an agreement with Malang Studio to gain a larger share in the mobile business. Under terms of the pact, OnNet will add Malang Studio-owned characters and incorporate Malang-developed ideas into mobile games.
The mobile game that OnNet will develop will be released through Malang Studio's mobile alarm application “Alarm Mon.” In return, two mobile games that Malang Studio is developing will be published by OnNet.

Alarm Mon, released in January 2012, is a mega-hit app that marked a 4.5-million download with the number of its daily users estimated at over 300,000.

OnNet, founded in 1996, is one of Korea's first-generation tech-startups. The company has developed a variety of online games, including "Shot Online" and "Tour Golf Online." It recently developed a string of mobile games, including "Daum Yagu Gamdok" (Baseball Manager). Through the alliance with Malang Studio, OnNet plans to make bigger forays into the mobile game business.
