SEOUL, KOREA - The concept of the ‘global village’ has created a new value in the convergence of Information, Communication, and Technology (ICT). This has changed not only our social structures but also the way we live our life in a more future-oriented manner. In an effort to prepare for Korea’s ICT development, the conference on Information Communication Facility 2013 will present MPEG-UD, IT convergence, wire communications, and research results on IT application in control system. In the special guest lectures, the topics of, “Construction IT and Smart Grid,” “Application of ICT convergence technologies to the civil engineering and construction sector,” and “Plans for ICT collaboration between Ethiopia and South Korea” will be presented.
The conference on Information Communication Facility 2013 will be held from August 22 to 23 at the Highone Hotel in Jeonseon, Gangwon-do.
