
SEOUL, KOREA- LG Electronics is stepping up efforts to achieve a second takeoff in China this year when it marks 20th anniversary for the company to launch into the market. The company plans to place its priority on promoting the status of its premium brand there, in coping with the challenges posed by local companies.
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of its launch into China, LG Electronics announced on August 18 that it would kick-start a road show in 10 major cities of China until September 15. During the road show, it will provide local consumers with the opportunities of experiencing LG's premium home electronics items.
The road show will start from Beijing toward other major cities of China, including Tsingtao, Guangzhou, and Shanghai.
An LG official said, "Armed with a variety of high-end home electronics products which feature innovative technologies and designs, we will go all-out to play a leading role in the Chinese home electronics market."
