Korean Pavilion Achieves Record-high Performance at “GamesCom 2013”

SEOUL, KOREA - The Korean Pavilion, run jointly by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism and the Korea Creative Content Agency, at the world’s largest international game show GamesCom 2013, which was held in Cologne, Germany, for three days between August 21 and 23, achieved successful performance.


The Korean Pavilion was joined by as many as 24 Korean mobile and online game companies, including Vanilla Breeze, JSC Games, Inuca Interactive.

During the four business days, about 690 cases of consultation, worth $178 million, were made, leading to export contracts of up to $46.4 million. This figure represents about two times higher than those recorded a year ago.

In this year’s GamesCom, in particular, Korea’s mobile game companies drew sharp attention from European buyers and major publishers there.
