Westin Chosun Ranks within Top 25 Hotels in Asia for 6 Consecutive Years

SEOUL, KOREA- Korea's five-star hotels are building great reputation with their high-quality facilities and services. According to hospitality industry sources on September 8, the nation's six major hotels, including Westin Chosun, were included in Asia's top 25 business hotels, selected by an online travel magazine Smart Travel Asia.The number of Korean hotels that are included in the top-25 list increased to six this year from last year's four.

Smart Travel Asia has published a list of Asia's top-ranking hotels, airlines, and resorts based on votes of its readers. The readership of Smart Travel Asia, which is estimated at around 1 million, travel 16.2 times per year on average with their average annual income estimated at $160,000.

Westin Chosun Hotel, in particular, was included in the top-25 list for six straight years, ranking No. 10 this year, up four notches from a year ago. Westin Chosun, accordingly, became the nation's first hotel to be positioned within top-ten ranking. Following Westin Chosun were Park Hyatt Seoul (No. 12), Grand Hyatt Seoul (No. 15), ad Hotel Shilla (No. 20). The Plaza Hotel and the Conrad Seoul joined the top-25 ranking first in their history.
