SEOUL, KOREA - WeMade Entertainment registered 54.8 billion won in sales, 2.8 billion won in operating profit and 750 million won in net profit for the third quarter of this year. Sales grew by 94 percent year on year on a K-IFRS basis.
The game company saw its overseas mobile sales rise by 28 percent compared to a quarter ago, mainly thanks to the steady growth of its Wind Runner game available on Line messenger.
WeMade Entertainment also laid a foundation for diversification of game genres by releasing a string of core genre games, including Atlan Story.The steady sales of SNG genre mobile games and the stable sales of online games, including the Legend of Mir series and the Lost Saga also contributed to the increase in overall sales of WeMade Entertainment.
Thecompany plans to strengthen its lineups in the fourth quarter by releasing avariety of new mobile games ranging from casual games to SNG, aviationshooting, TCG, and RPG.
