World Trade Show Industry Convention to Be Held in Seoul's Coex

SEOUL, KOREA - An annual meeting for UFI, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, the association of trade show organizers, fairground owners, and national and international associations of the exhibition industry, will be held at Coex Convention Center in Seoul's Gangnam for four days between November 13 and 16.

 

 

This is the first time for UFI's regular meeting is convened in Korea. The first UFI convention was held in 1925 in Milan, Italy. The Seoul UFI meeting will be attended by 500 trade show industry executives and officials from 50 countries, including those from Reed Exhibitions, Messe Frankfurt, and Fiera Milano.

 

Byun Bo-kyung, president of Coex, said, "This is an excellent opportunity for Korea's trade show industry to promote its ability to organize exhibitions to the world. I hope Korean companies to create global network with the world's trade show organizers."
