SEOUL, KOREA- Renault Samsung unveiled its goal of selling 1,000 units of QM3 that it imports from Renault of France, by the year’s end. The company announced on November 14 that it will implement special limited sales for the New QM3 from November 20. The number of the New QM3 subject to the limited sales is 1,000.
Renault Samsung originally planned to start selling the QM3 from December. Renault Samsung, however, changed its plan to launch the official sales of QM3 from the spring of next year due to the lack of supplies resulting from the high popularity of the QM3 in the European market.
A Renault Samsung official said, “The QM3 is enjoying high popularity in Europe. Competition to secure the QM3 is fierce among distributors in major countries.We have no option but to start the official sales of QM3 in Korea from March next year when Renault will complete the expansion of QM3 production at its European plants.”
