Korea Ranked 28th in INSEAD's Global Talent Competitiveness Index

SEOUL, KOREA - INSEAD, widely considered to be one of the world's best business schools, announced on November 26 the first edition of the Global Talent Competitiveness Index, based on research in partnership with the Human Capital Leadership Institute of Singapore and Adecco.

The Index, which measures a nation's competitiveness based on the quality of talent it can produce, attract and retain, placed Switzerland at the top of the ranking, followed by Singapore and Denmark in second and third place.
 
Korea was ranked 28th among 103 countries, earning 54.46 points. In the Global Knowledge Skills (GK) that measures skill levels of workers, Korea was ranked 22nd while being listed at 24th in terms of Labor and Vocational Skills. Meanwhile, in the category of "Attract," the degree of openness to minorities and immigrants, Korea was placed way below at 66th.
 
Switzerland was ranked No. 1 with the score of 74.83, followed by Singapore at 70.34. The United Kingdom (68.13), the United States (67.58), and Germany (65.00) were placed at 7th, 9th, and 16th, respectively. Among Asian countries, Japan (59.89) was ranked at 21st and China (44.94) at 47th.
