Lexus Hybrid Named as the Most Valuable Car

SEOUL, KOREA - ToyotaKorea announced on December 23 that its Prius ranked No. 1 in the Most Valuable New Car list for two straight years, released by the U.S. Consumer Report on December 18.The Prius also ranked No. 1 in even in the category of small- and semi mid-sized sedan.

Lexus ES300h and Toyota Avalon Hybrid each ranked No. 1 in luxury sedan and large sedan categories.With its hybrid models, Toyota swept three top spots in ten categories, the largest among car makers.

Consumer Report selects the most valuable new car every year based on its survey of more than 200 new cars. The survey assesses their driving performance on tracks and general roads, reliability based on consumer complaints and five-year maintenance cost.
