TicketMonster Says “62% of Popular Items are SME Products”

SEOUL, KOREA - Ticket Monster announced on December 23 that more than 60 percent of its popular items were the goods produced by small- and medium-sized enterprises.

The social commerce site operator Ticket Monster was selected this year’s most popular search word by sales area.

A company official said, “More than six items in top-ten products in each area of sales, including beauty, foods, and fashion, are those produced by small companies in Korea.”“A group of domestic SMEs, armed with high quality and price competitiveness, succeeded in positioning themselves as the producers of the bestselling social commerce items through joint promotion efforts with us,” he added.

Small enterprises, in particular, achieved the most outstanding performance in child care areas where their transactions volume marked a remarkable year-on-year growth of 340 percent.
