SEOUL, KOREA - SPC Group announced on December 25 that it opened Paris Baguette locations simultaneously in Doraville, Georgia, and Berkeley, California, in the United States.
This was the first time for SPC Group to open store in Georgia. Thus far, the group has opened bakeries mainly in the states of California, New Jersey, and NewYork.
The newly-opened Paris Baguette Georgia Buford Highway store is a bakery café with a floor space of 287.6 square meters. It is located in Buford Highway, a down turn of Doraville, a residential town northeast of Atlanta. The Buford Highway community is home to one of the highest concentration of foreign-born residents in the country.
The Paris Baguette Berkeley location is a large bakery with a floor space of 317.4 square meters. It is located in the center of UC Berkeley, one of major universities in the U.S. west coast. SPC Group plans to open 3,000 Paris Baguette stores in 60 countries by 2020, aimed at developing itself into one of the world's largest bakery brands.
