DRESDEN, GERMANY - ZMD AG (ZMDI), a Dresden-based semiconductor company that specializes in enabling energy-efficient solutions, announces the launch of their new 2014 theme, which further reinforces ZMDI's continued commitment to reducing the need for energy and thereby helping to prevent harmful emissions being released into the environment.

Over the past twelve months, ZMDI has been focused on it continuing trend of bringing products to market that make a significant impact on their customer's ability to reduce energy consumption in their applications, CO2 emissions and fuel consumption. In 2013, ZMDI was honored with The Green Apple Award in London as well as an award by the International Alternative Investment Review (IAIR) magazine in Milan Italy that recognized ZMDI's contributions in energy efficiency and sustainability. In February of 2014, ZMDI was once again honored by being chosen by the UBM EDN and EETimes Annual Creativity in Electronics (ACE) Awards committee as finalists for the Energy Technology award.
