ZMDI, a Global Semiconductor Company, Reinforces Their Commitment to Energy Efficiency With the Launch of Their 2014 Marketing Theme "A Greener Future Under A Pink Umbrella"

DRESDEN, GERMANY - ZMD AG (ZMDI), a Dresden-based semiconductor company that specializes in enabling energy-efficient solutions, announces the launch of their new 2014 theme, which further reinforces ZMDI's continued commitment to reducing the need for energy and thereby helping to prevent harmful emissions being released into the environment.

"The message of our 'Greener Future Under The Pink Umbrella' theme for 2014 is that our products have a tremendous impact, not only in the automotive market but also in industrial, information technology, medical, white goods and consumer products. This theme compliments our longstanding corporate brand statement "Pink is the New Green". The pink umbrella represents our global position as well as our ability to affect change in practically every industry through our technical expertise and predominating mission of reducing harmful emissions by developing products that contribute to a greener world," said Daniel Aitken, Global Director of Corporate Marketing and Communications at ZMDI.

Over the past twelve months, ZMDI has been focused on it continuing trend of bringing products to market that make a significant impact on their customer's ability to reduce energy consumption in their applications, CO2 emissions and fuel consumption. In 2013, ZMDI was honored with The Green Apple Award in London as well as an award by the International Alternative Investment Review (IAIR) magazine in Milan Italy that recognized ZMDI's contributions in energy efficiency and sustainability. In February of 2014, ZMDI was once again honored by being chosen by the UBM EDN and EETimes Annual Creativity in Electronics (ACE) Awards committee as finalists for the Energy Technology award. In 2014, ZMDI will continue to design and manufacture products that address the need for fuel efficiency and reduced dependence on energy consumption.
