In the wearable area, Samsung Electronics is spurring efforts for Tizen and its own exclusive operating system development.At the recent Mobile World Congress (MWC), Samsung Electronics showed off Samsung Gear 2 (including Neo) that is mounted with Tizen OS, first in the world.
Samsung is also set to release Gear Fit, together with Galaxy S4, on April 11. The Gear Fit will be based on Samsung’s exclusive operating system.The primary reason for Samsung welcoming Google’s releasing of wearables is that it could contribute to expanding the overall size of the wearable market.
