SEOUL, KOREA - The main specs of Samsung Electronics’ smartphone Galaxy S5 were revealed.SK Telecom announced that it will start selling Galaxy S5 from the afternoon of March 27.
Considering that KT and LG U+ are now under sales suspension, the Galaxy S5 would be available only through SK Telecom.
Its main specs are drawing attention from consumers. They include a 5.1-inch full HD (1920 x 1080) large display, a 2.5-GHz Quad-core SnapDragon and a memory of 2-GB RAM.
The Galaxy S5 is also mounted with a 16-megapixel Isocell-type camera, first in industry. With a fingerprint scanner, the new smartphone model ensures safer protection of photos inside the Gallery section and higher security for screen lock opening.
In addition, mobile settlement service is available using fingerprints, allowing users to protect their personal information in a safer manner.
The Galaxy S5 will be available at SK Telecom’s 3,000 offline stores throughout the country, plus at its online agent T World Direct. Its retail price is set at 866,800 won.
