SEOUL, KOREA - Naver turned out to have the youngest executives among Korea’s top-ten businesses, with the age of its executives averaged at 46.1. Following Naver were Samsung Electronics with 50.4 years of age, SK Hynix with 51.0, Samsung Life Insurance with 52.1, and LG Chem with 52.4.
Behind them were Kia Motors with 53.9, Hyundai Mobis with 54.4, POSCO with 55.9, Hyundai Heavy Industries with 56.0, and Hyundai Motor with 57.5.
When it comes to the age of vice chairmen of these companies, excluding those involved in the owner family, SK Hynix has the youngest vice chairman, followed by Samsung Life Insurance.
SK Hynix also has the youngest president-level executives with their age averaged at 57.7, followed by Samsung Electronics with 58.3, LG Chem with 58.4, Hyundai Motor with 58.8, and Samsung Life Insurance with 59.0.
Following them were POSCO with 60.0, Kia Motors with 60.8, Hyundai Mobis with 61.0, and Hyundai Heavy Industries with 61.2.
When it comes to the positions of vice presidents, managing directors and directors, Samsung Electronics has the youngest ones.
