China Hao Ran Recycling to Launch New Processing Plant in Henan

Tuesday, April 15th, 2014
SEOUL, KOREA - China Hao Ran Recycling Co., a Chinese holding company of subsidiaries mainly engaged in the recycling and distribution of paper raw materials, said on April 14 that its new Henan Province plant is set for full commercial operation. The plant, located in the city of Shangqiu‎ in the province, has a processing capacity of 100,000 tons a year. It has completed a pilot run in November last year.

The KOSDAQ-listed holding company expects that the operation of the new plant would accelerate the production of higher value-added paper and pulp products for the whole company. Another plant in the same city is producing 120,000 tons of white paper cards. The new plant will specialize in the production of deinked pulp as well as high-quality poker paperboards and specialty paper based on the deinked pulp raw material.

Henan Province in which China Hao Ran's high value-added product plants are located is abundant with lumber for pulp. The company hopes to establish a fully integrated production system from lumber collection to pulp and paper production within the province. A company official said, "Once the new plant is up and running, the vertical production system within the whole company would be closer to reality. We expect the synergies to come out from the second half of the year in terms of efficiency gains and output of higher value-added products."
