GM Korea to Export Chevrolet Trax to the U.S. from Early Next Year

SEOUL, KOREA - GM Korea formulated a plan to export a small SUV Chevrolet Trax to the United States from early next year. The exports, if realized, would be able to contribute to partially offsetting GM Korea's reduced output, caused by the decision by the headquarters in Detroit to withdraw the Chevrolet brand out of the European market gradually starting from late last year. 

At present, GM Korea is engaged in exports of another small SUV model Buick Encore to the North American market. It has exported 52,886 units of the Encore to North America last year.
