The event was held solely in Korea to commemorate the 80th anniversary of its business in Asia. This presentation was attended by as many as 1,600 dignitaries, including the company’s executives, journalists and major consumer firms in the Asia-Pacific region.
Through this event, Volvo Truck displayed nine models, including FH, FM, FMX series dump trucks, tractors, and cargo trucks.Volvo Truck explained that these models are totally new ranging from engines to internal and external designs.
To develop these new models, Volvo Truck spent more than $3 billion and 14 million hours. To ensure perfect quality and performance, they also underwent a series of trial driving of 21 million kilometers.
They are also mounted with the Volvo Dynamic Steering (VDS) as a basic option. The VDS ensures stable driving even in caseswhere driving conditions change, including road conditions, speed, direction, and windvelocity.
