Six global companies, including Hyundai Motor, Kia Motors, and Samsung Electronics, participated as official sponsors of the Brazil World Cup which will start from June 13.
From the perspective of brand marketing, the sponsor companies will be in a more advantageous position to promote their brands through stadium adverts and are allowed to use the World Cup logo for their promotion.
During the World Cup period, Hyundai Motor plans to spend hundreds of billions of won for advertising. Considering that the World Cup is viewed by as many as 1 billion people around the world, Hyundai Motor plans to make active use of the World Cup to gain more brand recognition and to increase its overseas sales.
