Volkswagen Korea Cuts Prices of Jetta 1.6 and 2.0

SEOUL, KOREA - Volkswagen Korea announced that it decided to lower the prices of Jetta 1.6 and 2.0 by up to 2 million won, while strengthening their convenience specs.

 

For the Jetta 1.6 TDI Blue Motion, the price will be reduced from the existing 31.9 million won to 29.9 million won, while a multifunctional leather steering wheel worth 590,000 won will be added.

The price of Jetta 2.0 TDI will be cut by 600,000 won from 36.0 million won to 35.4 million won, while a variety of convenience items, including Bi-Xenon headlamp, LED tail lamp and rear camera, are added.

A Volkswagen Korea official said, “For the Korean market where the popularity of sedans is high, we decided to strengthen the convenience specs of the Jetta models while lowering prices, aimed at providing more Korean consumers with the opportunities to experience the value of Jetta models.”

For the January-April period of this year, the domestic sales of Jetta 2.0 and Jetta 1.6 stood at 988 units and 387 units, respectively.
