
Beginning with the delivery ceremony, Hyundai Motor plans to sell a total of 40 Tucson hydro fuel cell cars to the nation’s major municipal governments, starting from the Seoul Metropolitan City Government.
It will follow up with the Ulsan Metropolitan City Government and the South Chungcheong Provincial Government by the end of this year. Each municipal government plans to use the Tucson hydro fuel cell cars for business purposes.
Tucson hydro fuel cell car has a maximum speed of 160 kilometers an hour. It takes 12.5 seconds to reach the speed of 100 kilometers an hour from standstill. With a single charging, it can drive up to 415 kilometers, a distance from Seoul to Busan. Hyundai Motor plans to sell more than 10,000 units of hydro fuel cell vehicles in Korea by 2025.
