Hanbul Motors Releases Peugeot New 308, First in Asia

SEOUL, KOREA - Hanbul Motors, an official dealer of Peugeot cars in Korea, released a new hatchback 308 model, first in Asia. Hanbul Motors said that it is a full change model of the 308 vehicle which was released first in 2008. The full change model started being sold from the end of last year.

 

It was named as the car of the year at the Geneva Motor Show in March. By applying a new platform, it reduces weight but enhances space utilization. This model is mounted with a new diesel engine that complies with the Euro 6 gas emission standards.

The most outstanding feature of the full change model is the application of PSA’s new platform EMP2 (Efficient Modular Platform 2). Compared to existing models, the new model features a reduction of 140 kilograms in weight, thereby realizing quick, agile and light movement.

The length and height of the frame is reduced by 20 mm and 30 mm, respectively, while the width of the frame and wheel base is extended by 10 mm, respectively, offering efficient indoor space.
