SEOUL, KOREA - KT&G announced on July 22 that it will hold the 2014 Korea Design Challenge.This year will mark the second anniversary for the public competition which is designed to invigorate Korea’s product design industry as well as to promote the superior quality of Korean designs in overseas markets.
The 2014 Korea Design Challenge will be co-hosted jointly with a total interior brand Umbra.The public competition will be hosted under the theme of “Liven up the wall.” Any design which can be used for walls can be submitted for the contest.
The competition is open to professional designer or design students. The application should be made during the period from July 21 to August 31. One can apply for the competition through KT&G’s website (www.sangsangmadang.com). Winning ideas will be produced and distributed in 30 countries worldwide, including the U.S., Europe, and Canada.
