
SEOUL, KOREA - Samsung Electronics is expected to show off its new premium smartphone Galaxy Note 4 at the IFA 2014 which is scheduled to be held in Germany next month.Attention is focused on Galaxy Note 4 which could serve as a reliever for Samsung Electronics which is losing ground in the premium phone market.
According to company sources on August 5, it sent a letter of invitation, saying that it will hold an unpack event for an unidentified product two days before the opening of the IFA in Berlin.
The name of the new product was not specified in the letter. However, considering that Samsung Electronics has traditionally released new Galaxy Note models at the IFA, it is highly likely for the company to show off its new Galaxy Note 4 at the upcoming IFA.
The Galaxy Note series, together with the Galaxy S, is one of Samsung’s two strategic smartphone lineups. Samsung has used to show off new Galaxy S models in February-March and new Galaxy Note in September.
