The 47th story of a full-length business novel.

Seeing the Korean situation, other foreign powers did not stand still as simple spectators. They have also augmented their military strength superiorly.

Then, they, like superhawks in the sky, have begun to press upon the Korean peninsula with their overwhelming strength and hypervelocity as if the land were a good decoy. They are no other than the former Car King Ford, German charioteers such as VW, Benz, BMW, Porsche, Golf, the British Land Rover and Jaguar, French Peugeot, Italian FIAT, Ferrari, Lamborghini, IVECO, Swedish Scania and VVV, Japanese samurais named Toyota, Nissan, Honda, Subaru, and so on. Day by day the Korean situation is badly deteriorating. Indeed, it is a flowing tide as if it were a universal trend in the earthly world. However, it is far from a freak of nature. It is not lusus naturae at all. Rather, it is from the pithy struggle among the powers. And it is the stern reality in human community. So, Korea cannot be an exception from the reality.

After all, there is only one Korean left. But he has not succumbed to the global superhawks, yet. Yes, he did not shrink from the flowing tide from the West. Rather, he has flown at the overwhelming tide and swum with the tide as if he had been a skilled hot-dogger. Then he has shown his true colors so far.

Probably, he might be the last man to be able to overturn this sort of desperate situation. Now, it seems that he has become immune to the fate of the Land of Rainbow. From this point of viw, some people say that he looks like the symbol of Korea itself. For the reason, he is sometimes called Chang Bo-ko(張保皐, 장보고 in Korean character). However, Chang Bo-ko is not his real name at all. It is but an assumed name for him. His real name is Cheong, Mong-gu (鄭夢九). Nonetheless, the real name is not familiar to the people without any reason. He also likes himself to be called Chang Bo-kobetter. In actual facts, the figure was a Korean tycoon in the middle of the 9thcentury. Starting from virtually nothing he built up the ‘kingdom of the Sea.’ For the reason, he has been regarded as an avant-garde for international trade.

Like him Cheong, Mong-gu has now re-organized his kingdom as a powerful prince in the Far East. Then he has been eager to be respected as an honorable machismo like the historic figure in this world.

is the flag and the logo. On the left side, the logo is his mascot. But the alphabet, H, has not any meaning in English unlike the alphabet song. In general, according to the song, the acronym has its own meaning. For instance, ‘A’ stands for Apple, ‘B’ for Ball, ‘E’ for Egg or Elevator. So, ‘H’ may point to ‘Hammer or Hat.’ However, the logo of ‘’ has no meaning. Simply it means the acronym of Hyundai that is his kingdom’s name. In this point, the character of ‘H’ is recorded in the English language to point to his kingdom. And the word, Hyundai, comes from the Chinese character. It means‘modernity.’ (現代) At first look at the logo, it seems to be quite similar to that of Honda. () In this context, the logo of Honda,, has no relation with English vocabulary. Simply, the name, Honda, is written in English alphabet. Its original meaning of ‘Honda’ is ‘home ground (本田)in Japanese. It may point directly to the Japanese mainland, Honshu. In this point, the meaning of Honda may signify Japan itself.

Presently, the both logos (&) are used in the auto world to point to each own. The difference between the two is either slanted or upright in writing the spelling. Such a similarity confuses the people. In reality, it is not easy to recognize their identities with the seeming logos only.

Apart from the shape of the logos, their each catchphrase has its own meaning. Specifically, Hyundai’s slogan is ‘New Thinking, New Possibility.’ And, Honda’s one is ‘Power of Dreams.’ And those are the messages to the people as a punch line. In this relation, there is a chatterbox. Sometimes, those under Cheong, Mong-gu explain its origin as below:

“The message, ‘New Thinking and New Possibilities,’ is no other than an assertive one from him. It is not focused on the public’s attention. But it is focused on us as a direct order. You know, he is only an actionist as well as a realist. Right, he is too far from a pedant or a scholar. His firing character does not permit the job to be acted slowly. It should be accomplished at once in accordance to the message. In this context, the message, catchphrase, slogan, or watchword or whatever it is called, is connected to his impatient and firing character--that is, no sooner said than done.”

In this way, those around him are critical and cynical of the catchphrase.
