SEOUL, KOREA - NH has signed an agreement with its three partners on ‘the joint development of new security services for NH e-banking’ so as to prevent online financial fraud including (Phishing and Pharming) and to provide safe and convenient e-banking service to customers.
Based on the agreement, the local bank is going to create Smart QR Security Card and a system that blocks Phishing text messages and to advance ‘My Own Bank Address’ service. The bank has a plan to have them ready within this year through the cooperation with its partners.
Smart QR Security Card will show the security card numbers in the form of QR codes so that even its users cannot read the whole numbers. This Card will prevent the security numbers from being leaked out in Phishing sites. The system that cuts off Phishing text messages will be provided for its Internet and Smart banking service subscribers.
Based on the plan to improve ‘My Own Bank Address’ service, which was introduced last January, NH is going to increase the number of distinct characters used to distinguish normal sites to 50 or more and to develop optional services for its customers as well.
NH농협, 3대 보안 울타리 만든다
NH농협은 금융기관을 사칭하는 전자금융사기(피싱·파밍)를 예방하고 고객에게 안전하고 편리한 전자금융 서비스를 제공하기 위해 3개 협력사들과 `NH농협 e금융 신 보안서비스 공동개발 업무 협약식`을 체결했다. 협약에 따라 농협은 스마트 QR보안카드와 피싱문자메시지 차단시스템, 나만의 은행주소 서비스 고도에 나선다. 협력사와 공동으로 올해 안에 상용화를 목표로 한다.
스마트 QR보안카드는 QR코드 형태로 보안카드를 제공해 고객 본인도 전체 보안카드번호를 알 수 없다. 피싱사이트에서 보안카드 번호유출을 방지하는 서비스다. 피싱 문자메시지 차단시스템은 인터넷뱅킹과 스마트뱅킹 가입자에게 제공할 서비스로 피싱사이트로 유도하는 문자메시지는 원천 차단하고 피싱사이트를 자동으로 신고한다.
나만의 은행주소 서비스 고도화는 지난 1월 출시한 `나만의 은행주소 서비스`에 정상 사이트 식별용 고유 캐릭터를 50여 가지로 확대하고 누구나 쉽고 편리하게 이용할 수 있도록 부가서비스를 추가로 개발할 예정이다.
