SEOUL, KOREA - LG Electronics plans to release Optimus F5 in the global markets starting from France on April 29. Optimus F5 is the first in LG's Optimus F series that was released first at the Mobile World Congress 2013 held in Barcelona, Spain, in February 2013.
Optimus F5 is a popular-type smartphone that targets the LTE market. Optimus F5 features a 1.2-GHz dual-core processor, a 4.3-inch display and a 2150mAh battery. With a built-in Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) operating system, Optimus F5 has a 5-megapixel rear camera.
The new model is also primed with LG's unique user experience features, including Q Slide, Q Translator, and Live Zoom. Q Slide enables users to perform a variety of applications simultaneously by adjusting size and position. Q Translator is a feature that translates the texts taken by camera.
