SEOUL, KOREA - Heerim Architects & Planners, Korea's leading architectural firm specializing in design and inspection of buildings, residential houses, and infrastructures, has won a project to supervise the construction of a second passenger terminal for Incheon International Airport.
Heerim will be responsible for both architectural design and construction inspection for the terminal.
Incheon International Airport Corp. said on May 2 that it has selected the Heerim consortium consisting of six companies (Mooyoung Architects & Engineers, TCMC Architects & Engineers, Nara Engineering Consultants, Jayoung Engineering, and Yungdo Engineering, as well as Heerim Architects) as the final successful bidder to take charge of its second passenger terminal construction supervision. The bidding price was 44.4 billion won.
Jeong Young-Kyoon, president and CEO of Heerim Architects, said, "The latest project is the largest scale in Korea's history in the areas of architectural design, construction management, and construction supervision all put together."
