Cymera Passes 10 Mil. Download Mark O'seas

SEOUL, KOREA - Cymera, a free camera application, passed the 10 million mark in downloads in overseas markets. 

On May 13, SK Communications revealed the growth trend of its Cymera in the global markets. Released first in March 2012, Cymera exceeded the 10 million download mark in overseas markets in just three months after it passed the 5 million overseas downloads in February 2013.

The average daily downloads of Cymera, which stood at between 20,000 and 30,000 last year, shot up to about 100,000 in recent days, with the number of new users growing at an explosive rate. 

In addition to Asian countries such as Thailand and Taiwan, Cymera is also enjoying an outstanding growth in the number of users in Germany, Spain, Mexico and India. 

The number of domestic Cymera downloads stands at around 8.5 million. The number of Cymera users worldwide, accordingly, reach more than 18.5 million. In 220 countries worldwide, more than 1.5 million people use Cymera every day.
