SEOUL, KOREA – Mgame said on Tuesday that it has signed a contract with Cubinet Interactive (MSC), a Kuala Lumpur-based digital games publisher, to export its martial arts 3D MMORPG “Yulgang 2” to Singapore and Malaysia.
Cubinet Interactive will offer “Yulgang 2,” available in English and Chinese, to Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines over the next 3 years.
Cubinet Interactive is the first-ever online game publisher in Malaysia. Kwon Yi-hyeong, CEO of Mgame mentioned, “We expect that Yulgang 2, which caught on in Thailand, would find favor with game players in other Southeast Asian nations. Also, we are currently negotiating with famous game publishers from China and Taiwan.”

엠게임 `열혈강호2` 동남아 수출
엠게임(대표 권이형)은 싱가포르, 말레이시아 지역의 최대 게임 업체 큐비넷(대표 앤디초)과 `열혈강호2` 수출 계약을 체결했다고 4일 밝혔다.
열혈강호2는 큐비넷이 향후 3년간 싱가포르, 말레이시아, 필리핀에서 영어와 중국어 서비스를 시작할 예정이다. 엠게임은 개발 지원을 맡게 되며 올 하반기 공개 서비스를 시작할 계획이다.
큐비넷은 말레이시아 최초의 온라인 게임사다. 싱가포르, 말레이시아, 태국, 필리핀, 베트남 등 동남아 시장에서 `완미세계` `무림외전` `주선 온라인` 등을 서비스하고 있다.
권이형 엠게임 대표는 “태국에 이어 열혈강호2가 동남아 시장에서 좋은 성과를 거둘 것”으로 기대하며 “현재 중국, 대만 등 해외 각국 유명 퍼블리셔들과도 협상 중이어서 추가 결실을 예상한다”고 말했다.
앤디초 큐비넷 대표는 “열혈강호2를 싱가포르, 말레이시아, 필리핀 지역에 성공적으로 서비스함으로서 동남아 게임 시장에 또 하나의 성공 이정표를 세우고 싶다”고 밝혔다.
