SEOUL, KOREA - Lee Young-sang, the CEO of DataStreams, received a CEO special prize from the 13th Korea Digital Management Innovation Awards. Held by the Ministry of Science, ICT & Future Planning, the function awarded Lee for his business philosophy which values developing advanced technology and R&D.
Mr. Lee has contributed to the great expansion of DataStreams by developing data quality, data integration solutions, and by providing these services to finance organizations and governmental agencies. In particular, one especially important accomplishment of Mr. Lee’s was the localization of foreign-made data management-related solutions through continuous investment in R&D.

The Ministry of Knowledge and Economy designated DataStreams as an Advanced Technology Center (ATC) in 2011. In addition, Mr. Lee’s contribution to the development of the Korean SW industry, in his former position as the president of the Korea Software Industry Association (KSIA), earned him a commendation from the Prime Minister. He currently holds the position of honorary president of KSIA and the president of the export subcommittee.
Mr. Lee’s work has spurred inroads into markets in China, Japan, and North America, strengthening global networks and constructing new market.
