TOKYO, JAPAN - Poko Pang, offered through Naver’s LINE platform, emerged as No. 1 mobile game in Japan. When Korea’s mobile game industry celebrated the first anniversary of KakaoTalk’s Play Game platform on July 30, Naver Line also hurrahed silently because Poko Pang, a mobile game developed by Tree Node and serviced on Naver Line platform, achieved the highest sales in Japan.

Poko Pang is a game now offered through Line. It features easy play, simply dragging more than three same-colored stones and breaking them. More important is to push up scores by beating monsters.

With cute animal characters, Poko Pang is like a mixture of two different games—“Booooly!” a game that drags more than three balloons, and “Puzzle and Dragon,” a game that beats monsters through puzzles.

Until recently, Puzzle & Dragon has been ranked No. 1 in terms of sales in Japan for so long, with an experience of breaking 100-billion-won mark in monthly sales. On July 30, however, Poko Pang overtook Puzzle & Dragon, emerging as the best-selling game in Japan.
