
SEOUL, KOREA- LG Electronics announced on August 4 that it will display its 55-inch OLED TVs at major international airports throughout the world from this month.Starting from the VIP lounge at Japan's Narita Airport, LG Electronics' 55-inch OLED TVs will be installed at first-class passenger lounges and waiting rooms at major airports in 37 countries, including the United States, Germany, and Dubai.
An LG official said, "This campaign is intended to promote the premium image of our OLED TVs ahead of its global debut in the second half of this year. We will provide the opportunity of experiencing it firsthand to people as much as possible."
The LG OLED TV features a 4-mm ultra-slim thickness, slimmer than that of smartphones, and a 10-kg ultra-light weight. By adding white pixels to existing RBG, it realizes a deeper color, while providing wider viewing angle and faster response speed.
