SEOUL, KOREA- LG U+ released on August 4 a new LTE rate plan for youngsters that allows them to use data up to 5 gigabytes a month. The rate plan features an unlimited use of text messages, a 2.2-GB data, and 60,000 rings at a monthly basic rate of 50,000 won.
A voice and video call requires 2.5 rings per second, while data 20.48 rings by 1 MB. If all the 60,000 rings are used up for data, it enables users to use 5-GB data at a maximum. A ring, the deduction unit when using voice, image, and data, is applied for LG U+'s juvenile rate scheme. The new LTE rate plan for juveniles is applied for those aged from 4 to 18.
