SEOUL, KOREA- Samsung Electronics is set to release Galaxy Tab 3 Kids within next month, making forays into the kids’ tablet market. Prior to this, LG Electronics had already released “Kids Pad,” a tablet PC for kids, last year. This indicates that the device market for kids is fast expanding.
Samsung Electronics showed off the Galaxy Tab 3 Kids on August 28. The new tablet supports a variety of educational contents and boasts a high level of safety. The Galaxy Tab 3 Kids features a 7-inch screen, a 1024 x 600 resolution display, and a 1.2-GHz processor. This device is mounted with an Android OS 4.1 version and a pen, enabling users to handwrite.
Other features include a 3-megapixel camera, a 1-GB RAM, and a 4000 mAh battery. It is also mounted with a variety of learning applications, allowing kids to have fun in studying.
