Renault Samsung Goes All-out to Boost Domestic Sales

SEOUL, KOREA- As part of an effort to strengthen its domestic sales, Renault Samsung released an Art Collection that features a price cut of up to 820,000 won, plus 2014 versions of the SM7 and SM5.Renault Samsung announced on September 3 that it will start selling the Art Collection under the concept of a limited edition, for three months until November. A Renault Samsung official said, “To increase our domestic market share, as well as to satisfy diverse customer needs, we decided to offer the trims and options preferred by customers as a package.”

The 2014 type SM7 Le/LE35 trim is primed with strengthened safety and convenience specs, including dead zone information system (BSW) and front alarm device. In particular, the price of the LE35 is cut by 1.24 million won by adjusting options. The price of the 2014 SM5 SE Plus is also down by 600,000 won.

Renault Samsung’s monthly domestic sales reached an all-time high at 5,094 units last month.
