Hite Jinro announced that its d brand beer broke the 1-million-box mark in June 2013, in less than three years after release first in August 2010. The d brand beer reached the milestone of 1 million boxes within the shortest period of time among domestic beer brands.
Since it was launched, the d has been marketed targeting young people, thereby ranking No. 1 for four consecutive years in the beer brand momentum survey conducted with those in their 20s (Embrain, Brand Index survey).
In the first half of this year, the d’s market share grew by 85.7 percent compared to a year ago. Key factors behind d’s remarkable growth include high quality, differentiated taste, unique bottle design, and its experience marketing targeting young people.
