With this technology, the eight cores (circuits) that are mounted on Octacore AP can be mobilized individually when needed. Thus far, four low-performance cores or four high-performance cores were mobilized at the same time, causing problems like higher power consumption and heating.
Based on this technology, the eight cores can be mobilized individually, therefore contributing to improving performances and reducing power consumption.
When the user is engaged in simple work like text messaging through smartphones, for example, only one low-performance core is mobilized, reducing power consumption. When the user enjoys 3D graphics, all of the eight cores can be used at the same time, thereby exerting maximum performance.
