SEOUL, KOREA- LG Electronics announced on September 12 that the global sales of its Magic Space Refrigerator, which has a unique storage space under the concept of “a mini refrigerator inside a refrigerator,” passed 1 million units.
After releasing first in Korea in February 2010, the model was debuted in Asia, North America, and Latin America in 2011, and Oceania in 2012, drawing good responses from these markets.
Unlike the existing home bar that is small enough to accommodate only beverage or water bottles, the Magic Space is about half the size of the one door of the side-by-side refrigerator. The Magic Space can store as many as 72 355-ml cola cans, with the height of the basket inside the refrigerator being able to be adjusted upward or downward.
The V9 100 model that has a structure of “cold room at the top” and “freezing room at the bottom,” has a mini table. If the user opens the door of the Magic Space, they can put cups or bottles on the mini table.
