SEOUL, KOREA - Pantech’s brand-new smartphone Vega Secret Note are enjoying a smooth growth in sales with its monthly sales reaching 200,000 units.
The company announced on November 15 that its Vega Secret Note, released on October 16, was sold 200,000 units over the past one month.
Pantech, which underwent restructuring and changes in management in September, set its monthly smartphone sales goal at 200,000 units. If its monthly smartphone sales exceed 200,000 units for three straight months, it can bounce back to profit.
A Pantech official said, “Key factors behind the popularity of Vega Secret Note include its secret function that protects privacy and personal information.” The Vega Secret Note supports V Protection, a function that prevents the leakage of personal information even when the smartphone was lost, as well as SK Telecom’s “Lost Phone Finding Plus Service.”
