SEOUL, KOREA - Nexus 5, which is drawing a sharp attention as a mid- and low-priced smartphone, will kick-start pre-order sales from November 15. SK Telecom, KT, and Hello Mobile will take pre-orders for the Nexus 5 through online and offline outlets.
SK Telecom will receive the orders through its T World Direct, and KT through Olleh.com from 10 am on the day. The Nexus 5 will be officially launched on November 21 at SK Telecom and KT and on November 22 at Hello Mobile.
The Nexus 5 is a phone model that Google developed together with LG Electronics.
As the first smartphone mounted with an Android operating system 4.4 Kitkat, the Nexus 5 features a 5-inch full HD IPS display, a Qualcomm SnapDragon 800 processor, and an 8-megapixel camera. It, however, does not support LTE A. All the telecom companies have not yet fixed the retail price of the Nexus 5.
