SEOUL, KOREA - Buzz Launcher, developed by a smartphone launcher developer Buzzpia which was taken over by Daum Communications, passed the 4-million-mark in cumulative downloads.
According to Daum on December 16, the Buzz Launcher is a new-concept SNS launcher service that allows users to share smartphone home screens. Buzz Launcher can be installed easily to smartphones through the home screen sharing platform Homepackbuzz (www.homepackbuzz.com).
Thanks to Buzz Launcher’s easy sharing feature, more than 20 million home screens created newly by users in and outside Korea have been shared on a daily basis. Since its launch in June, more than 200,000 home screens have been registered with Homepackbuzz.
Buzz Launcher is enjoying rising popularity in 50 countries, including the United States, Japan, China, Australia, and Canada. Overseas users account for more than 60 percent of the overall downloads, with Buzz Launcher available in 14 languages, including English, Japanese, Chinese, Indonesian, and German.
