SEOUL, KOREA - Ssangyong Motor announced on January 17 that it sponsored the 2014 Asia Model Festival Awards, the most renowned fashion model festival in Asia.The 2014 Asia Model Festival Awards was held for two days from January 16 to 17 at the Olympic Hallin Seoul Olympic Park.
Many dignitaries from the fashion and entertainment industry in and outside Korea are taking part in the 2014 Asia Model Festival Awards.The 2014 festival consists of a variety of events, including fashion shows, contests, and award ceremonies.
The 2014 Asia Model Festival Awards will be aired to about 140 countries around the world through three channels, including SBS Plus and Arirang TV.During the festival period, Ssangyong Motor established a separate exhibition booth to show off its New Korando C model.
Ssangyong Motor also gave the “New Star Award—Korando Award” to two Korean fashion models—Seon Yun-Mi and Lee Jae-Hwan.
A Ssangyong Motor official said, “We expect our sponsorship of the 2014 Asia Model Festival Awards to contribute to enhancing our brand recognition to global audience and to creating a new corporate image.”
