
The store is SPC Group’s third Paris Baguette location in Manhattan, following the 40th Street store in the neighborhood of Time Square and the 52nd Street store targeting office workers nearby.
Since it opened its first American location in 2005, Paris Baguette has tested its franchise business in the United States by increasing the number of shops it directly operates there up to 30, located in the east and west coast of the country. Paris Baguette plans to complete its franchise business test with the opening of the 70th Street store.
A Paris Baguette official said, “We are almost in the final stage to enter the U.S. franchise store market. Considering that our franchise business is drawing an explosive response from local consumers, we expect our business there to have a bright future ahead.”
