SEOUL, KOREA - Samsung Electronics was picked as one of the top employers in Brazil. Top Employers Institute, a specialist firm that focuses on evaluation of global human resources strategies, selected Samsung Electronics as the 2014 Top Employers Brazil.
Top employers are selected on the basis of inspection and evaluation of five categories, including wage policy, working conditions/benefits, education programs, career development, and corporate culture. Together with Samsung Electronics, Coca-Cola and SAS were also named as the 2014 Top Employers Brazil.
Samsung Electronics Latin America Headquarters, located in Sao Paulo, Brazil, was granted the Top Employers Certification as it received good evaluation in human resources policies and working conditions.
For Samsung, this was the first time to be named as Top Employer not only in Brazil but in the whole Latin American regions. Its strenuous efforts to improve working environment, as well as to cultivate high-caliber staff were recognized highly.
