SEOUL, KOREA - Innocean, an advertising affiliate of the Hyundai Motor Group, will run a motor racing circuit at the Inje Auto Theme Park in Gangwon Province.It plans to hold motor racing events there, aimed at improving its brand status and securing high-loyalty clients.
According to the Inje municipal government on April 21, Innocean, an advertising unit of the Hyundai Motor Group, will be selected as an official operator of the Inje Auto Theme Park Motor Racing Circuit.
In late March, InjeSpeedium, the owner of the Inje Auto Theme Park, submitted a request to the municipal government to allow Innocean to be responsible for the operation of the motor racing circuit and Taeyoung Construction to take care of the operation and management of the neighboring hotel and condominium.
A government official said, “We are now reviewing the request and the decision will be made within this week if there is no other variable to consider.”This would be the first time for the Hyundai Motor Group to operate a motor racing circuit for itself.
