SEOUL, KOREA - Kia Motors displayed a mid-sized sedan K4 concept at the 2014 Auto China.The K4 concept car is primed with a simple but magnificent design, a high level of space utilization and safety features, as well as a variety of state-of-the-art convenience specs.

Designed under the concept of “Grand,” the brand-new sedan features a length of 4.72 meters, a width of 1.82 meters, a height of 1.47 meters, and a wheelbase of 2.77meters.With the application of linear-centered design, the mid-sized sedan boasts refined dynamics and elegant simplicity.
It has a 1.6-liter gasoline turbo engine which is similar to one that has been used for the K3 Koup. K3 Koup has a maximum output of 204 hp and a maximum torque of 27.0 kg.m. To ensure smooth and fast-speed transmission, the cutting-edge sedan is added with a seven-speed double clutch transmission (DCT).
Kia Motors plans to release the mass-production version of the K4 in the Chinese market within this year, targeting potential buyers in their 30s and 40s.
